The Full Story
The name Lee Hall isn’t especially common. While names like General Lee are widely recognized, the exact name Lee Hall appears only occasionally — which is what made it interesting. Over time, small discoveries added to the curiosity, including historical references such as Lee Hall Manor in Virginia, and meeting or hearing about other people who shared the same name.
What began as a casual conversation turned into a recurring question: How many people named Lee Hall actually exist? From there, the idea of attempting a Guinness World Records® record came up — initially as a joke, then often enough that it became worth trying.
As the project grew, it naturally split into two separate efforts, each with its own purpose.
1. Guinness World Records Registration (Official & Verified)
The first effort is a formal registration and identity-verification process for a Guinness World Records submission.
We are actively seeking individuals whose legal name is exactly:
-
First Name: Lee
-
Last Name: Hall
No middle names, nicknames, variations, or aliases are included in the Guinness registration.
This process requires:
-
Registration through the official form
-
Identity validation to confirm the exact name
-
Secure handling of submitted information
This portion of the project is handled seriously and professionally so the verified participant list can be submitted to Guinness World Records for review. Once the required number of verified participants is reached, the official record attempt date will be announced.
2. The Lee Hall Hall of Fame (Fun Facts & Similarities)
Completely separate from the Guinness registration is the Lee Hall Hall of Fame.
This is a light-hearted, optional project created purely out of curiosity. It collects non-identifying, fun-fact information from Lee Halls who want to participate — things like preferences, habits, and shared traits — to see if people with the same name have anything unexpectedly in common.
This section:
-
Does not require identity verification
-
Is not submitted to Guinness
-
Exists purely for fun and exploration
The Hall of Fame is where patterns, coincidences, and shared quirks live — and where the hobby side of the project comes to life.
